An Elegant Creekside Affair in Virginia...

    Lucy and Taylor's wedding at The Mill at Fine Creek was an extraordinary day and was captured by the incredibly talented Taylor Rose Photography. I was lucky enough to be asked to design the Art Nouveau-inspired wedding invitations for their special day. The vibrant emerald green and ruby red colors surely set the tone of their special day and served as a subtle hint to the December holiday.


    I adore the bold and straightforward color palette Lucy and Taylor utilized throughout their event. Often, I have clients come to me with five or six different colors that they would like incorporated into their stationery. Trying to utilize too many colors can come off as busy and can send a mixed and watered down message. But not this wedding... oh, so bold and beautiful, yet stylish and timeless!

    Moody & Dramatic in Miami

      This dramatic and moody styled shoot was oh-so vintage and fabulous to work on. I was asked to design turquoise and ruby Art Nouveau wedding invitations. The bride's simple Edwardian style dress with three-quarter sleeves was so sublime! The results were ethereal, colorful and so dramatic... what lovely inspiration! It just goes to show you don't need to get overly complicated to make a splash on your wedding day. Simpler can be better and more effective I think!

      Edwardian Wedding Style in Los Angeles

        I was lucky enough to be asked to design an Edwardian themed wedding invitation suite for a styled shoot at the Ruby Street venue again. It was so lovely- soft and pretty palettes and stunning photography from Peterson Design Photo. From the ceremony backdrop, painted wedding cake, and stunning turn of the century venue; this really was a beautiful step back in time. We were featured in my favorite blog, Chic Vintage Brides and Glamour & Grace.
